Inspired

So I'm reading Sarah's blog and laughing out loud (really), when I get inspired to do one of my own. Why not, eh? Where do you think she gets those writing skills? Oh yes, those are most certainly Gunter genes.
I had breakfast with Edith this morning. She is my amazing mentor and words of reason from years of wisdom. I drank down a pot of coffee as I got her up to speed on my world. Bill has filed contempt and we'll go to court soon. Sarah is doing great, Victoria not so much, Paul waiting to drive. I split up with Michael. Went to New Orleans to lift my spirits. Wow, what a great weekend! Breakfast with daddy and Lucien. Lunch with Lucien, 8 of his friends, 290 strangers and the newest Saints Hall to Fame Man, Morten Anderson. What a who-dat kinda day! Finished up the evening laughing with Miss Linda. Saturday started way too early with cooking up some BMX lunch goodness. Any idea how many times you have to taste before you get through 30 pounds of potato salad makings? Jake's arm may still be sore and I wonder how long it is before any of us crave potato salad again, hmm?
People watching at the Gretna BMX track is one of a kind. Nothing comes to mind to compare it to. It's a place you have to experience first hand. No words can describe.
Once done with Joseph the Dirt Devil, or is it the Dirt Devil Joseph? Miss Linda, Christi and I set out for a girls night. First stop was a live production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Great performance and big kudos for Christi's goody bag of participation! We found a piano bar with the worst employee's ever. Dove into cocktails and serious munchies. By the end of round three or four, we were singing along. Not quite ready to call it a night, we set out for the French Quarter. It's clean right now (the actual streets) but loaded with more strip joints than ever. We wondered through and did some shopping. I've been sworn to secrecy, fyi, did you know that cell phones and cameras are not allowed in many of the stores along Rue Bourbon?
The yaya was on and Tarot readers, as well as palm readers were out in full form. Apparently it's not in the stars for me to ever remarry; not a problem. The devil card showed up a couple of times; he had very little hair and described as angry. Oh well. Good news was lots and lots of travel in my future. Strong relationships, I may move very far away, and I have tons more years ahead. Woohoo! It was 2:00 a.m. when we called it a night.
