What a great holiday. Bill had to go out of town, so the kids were all with me! Well, I think it did start with Paul not wanting to be any where but home for his Thanksgiving meal. The girls followed his lead with the same feelings. There's no place like home for the holidays. I got a nice complement from each of them, they all wanted "momma's cooking". I happily got the kitchen going and provided a 20# turkey, oyster dressing, and too many trimmings to mention. We finished up the food frenzie with peanut butter pie and pumpkin cheese cake for dessert.
Mitzi, Michael, Abby, & Emma came in to share the table. They also brought the newest member of the family, Max (they call her Jesse, but it's really Max from the Grinch). Let's just say that the chances of the Jennings' getting a new dog, um, dropped considerably. No animals, not now. I like the freedom to move about the country, without having to worry about dog sitters or kennels.
The day started at 6:00 a.m. and didn't end till some where around midnight. Good, good stuff.
There's more. As I think of it, I'll try to add it on.
